Maxi ThermoFoodPro Super Chef - Same as the Bellini Kitchen Master?

Thank you to one of my Anonymous readers who posted a comment about the Maxi Kitchen Appliances ThermoFoodPro Super Chef.  I did a bit of research this morning and it is exactly the same product as the Bellini Intelli KM.

I have to say I'm VERY impressed with their website and they way they promote the machine (check it out here).  The website is clear, well written and very appealing to the eye.  It features video tutorials for recipes including mincing meat, pizza dough, and pestos (just to name a few).

If you are looking for the awesome recipe book, you can get it here: http://www.maxika.com.au/sites/default/files/pdfs/SuperchefRecipeBook.pdf

I'm very excited to receive my replacement KM soon, and will be trying out many of the recipes in the above cook book!

Don't forget to leave me feedback with your experiences with the KM!  I'd love to hear your thoughts :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. Me again
Since Thursday I have cooked 5 of the recipes in my Bellini using the previously mentioned recipe book and they were great! I'm loving it!! I did vegetable risotto last night and it was delicious and fed 3 adults and 3 small children. Just want to try more desserts now to see if the custards and choc mousse work just as well.

  2. Please note Target are selling the Bellini product without the permission of the product owner Vendall corporation of Spain.

In addition they have been instructed to remove it from their shelves. they have also been told that they will not be recieving any additional stock and NO spare parts to perform warranty.

Also the Bellini product is only supplied with a 12 month Target warranty where as the MaxiKA superchef has a 2 year manufactures warranty and of course a 150 page reciepe book

    1. Do you work for "The Good Guys" or Maxi per chance? Someone sounds annoyed.

  3. Hi did you happen to download the recipe book from maxika? I looked at it online while at work but they had taken it offline by the time I got to log on at home.

    2. I have a Target Bellini so no luck with the company. They'll only email a copy if you have a MaxiKa serial number & receipt details :( So disappointed. The recipes looked good & would of helped me get more out of my machine. If anyone can help me out I would really love a copy randomstuff4b@hotmail.com

  9. Hi Eat Sew Love,

How do you know that the ThermoFoodPro Super Chef and the Bellini Intelli KM is the same product?

Also, is this product greatly inferior to the thermochef? Can it do everything the TC can do? Does the Bellini have scales? Sorry for all the questions.

I'd love to get one & have been tossing up as to which one to get. If they are the same product & I can save a few more hundred dollars - happy days!

BTW thank you for the link for the recipe book Anonymous :-)

    Thank you :-)

    1. Hi Frangipanidreamz! Thanks for your comment.

Whilst I cannot claim that the KM and TFP are exactly the same product (I'm not the manufacturer), they sure do look the same to me, don't you agree? And thanks to one of the comments above on the 22 of July, it appears that TFP are taking legal action against KM so sounds a bit suss to me.

I haven't had any experience using the Thermochef, so I can't help you with that one... perhaps one of my readers maybe able to help you?

Unfortunately the KM does not come with inbuilt scales, but I find this doesn't bother me at all as I'm used to using my kitchen scales anyway.

I hope this helps you with your decision!
      Thanks for following!

  11. Hi everyone. I have been following this site with interest. I am a self confessed gadget lover and found myself in a position where i needed to cook more than just heating up a tv dinner. I stumbled across the bellini and thought what a great idea if it works. I almost bought the first version and glad i didn't. After reading and doing my research i lashed out and got the latest one at Target for 329.00. All i can say is it is great. For someone who doesn't cook much i have made some stuff out of the downloaded maxi cook book and all came out perfect. Keep up the good work with this blog

    1. Thanks for the feedback Andrew - my replacement KM arrived this week so I'm going to post some updates next week. Lucky me I'm away on holidays this weekend so won't have time to test it out. Let me know how you get on and feel free to share any recipes you have!

    2. I have had my Bellini replaced by GSM. Today I got time to cook with it and found how they have changed. Previously top temperature was 130 degrees, now it is only 100 degrees, then steaming on top of that. Hope it will still cook hot enough. But it used to burn custard at 80 degrees, so how will reducing top temperature change this?
Has anyone else found a problem with this?
What is maximum temp for the Maxi superfood thermochef?

    3. Can anyone say why the Bellini has two blades as there are no instructions when to use either in the recipes. Some ideas would be helpful as to when either should be used.

      Delete
    4. I too am puzzled about the two blades, I understand that they have different uses, but can't figure out how to change them. Some recipes seem to require you to change them during the preparation/cooking process and I can't figure out how you could do this without emptying out the food etc. I guess I have missed something vital here!!!
